Mohammad Fasal Shariff, founder of Shariff CPA Firm, P.C. is a native of Dallas, Texas. He received a B.B.A. in Accounting from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Texas. He is a member of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
After graduation from SMU, Fasal started his career with BDO Seidman, LLP, a mid-size CPA firm in 2006. He then went on to work with Pricewaterhouse Coopers, LLP and Deloitte & Touche, LLP, both “Big 4” Public Accounting Firms. Working as an audit associate and senior allowed him to experience a wide range of industries and personal clients. This facilitated his ability to solve business and individual tax situations by using a diversity of resources.
Fasal has substantial experience leading and coordinating financial statement audits and audits of internal control over
financial reporting with both public and private entities specializing in financial services, consumer products, manufacturing, oil & gas, insurance and other industries.
In October 2014, he left the CPA firm to start his own practice. His previous experience gave him the expertise to take a comprehensive approach to small businesses and their owners. He has a passion for helping businesses with their tax and financial needs.
Fasal enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and swimming. He is a huge Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks fan.
